Create an AWS EC2 Free Tire Machine

This story runs you through the creation of an free tire EC2 machine, Step by Step with image.

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud.

Create an EC2 Instance

Select the EC2 service from AWS

Click on the launch instance button.

Step 1. Chose AMI

In this example we are choosing ubuntu free tire machine.

Step 2. Choose Instance Type

Instance Selection

Click on the review and launch button.

Keep all other settings as default and launch the instance.

Generate a Key Pair and Download for Connection

View Instance

Now you can go to the instance list to see the instance details.
